Field of Hearts

This collage was a college art project utilizing recycled imagery from other artists. The themes of the imagery received were dark and grotesque scenes from horror films. Not having the emotional tolerance for such things, I was determined to transform the imagery into the opposite. What came to mind was the warmth of spring and love - a field of blooming flowers, created from dozens upon dozens of hearts.
